Denver Adaptive Divers (DAD) is a Colorado-based organization dedicated to supporting and educating individuals with physical disabilities in scuba diving. They provide specialized training and dive travel opportunities, aiming to integrate qualified individuals into the sport of scuba diving. DAD is a leader in removing barriers for people with disabilities in the Rocky Mountain Region, offering Open Water Diver certification and the freedom of underwater movement. They work with individuals with various disabilities, including spinal cord injuries, Multiple Sclerosis, amputees, and those who are visually or hearing impaired. Using Scuba Schools International (SSI) curriculum, they teach adaptive divers all necessary skills, sometimes with the assistance of an adaptive buddy, to ensure they can dive to their maximum ability. Denver Adaptive Divers offers a range of exciting and adventurous dive trips, leveraging their global travel experience to plan memorable journeys for their divers. Easterseals provides services to children and adults with disabilities and other special needs, and support to their families. Easterseals Colorado's Rocky Mountain Village (RMV) camp offers 220 acres of accessible, barrier-free facilities with beautiful Rocky Mountain views. The camp includes lodging for up to 156 people, meeting rooms, hiking trails, a swimming pool, fishing or ice skating pond, a 27-hole disc golf course, and a climbing tower with a zip line. Tent camping sites with accessible bathrooms and showers are also available. The campground is centrally located, making it a great lodging location for day trips to popular skiing resorts and the famous Rocky Mountain National Park. Retreat packages provide everything needed for a successful event.

The foundation now owns 4 Trailrider chairs, symbolizing their commitment to overcoming accessibility barriers through a combination of community involvement and technological innovation. Their mission extends beyond mere nonprofit work, aiming to redefine what people with disabilities can achieve on mountain trails.

Featuring a 1-mile boardwalk that rises to over 9,000 feet in elevation, Wilderness On Wheels allows everyone to roll and stroll through the beautiful Colorado mountains. Visitors can spend the day hiking, fishing, and grilling, or stay overnight in a cabin or campsite. With the help of volunteers, Boy Scout troops, and local clubs, Wilderness On Wheels has created a nature retreat that ensures everyone, regardless of their disability, can enjoy the outdoors.

Wings for Life is dedicated to finding a cure for spinal cord injuries by funding cutting-edge research globally since 2004. With 100% of donations going directly to research, they support the best researchers and have funded 299 projects worldwide. The annual Wings for Life World Run raises funds and awareness, with participants running until a Catcher Car passes them. To date, $40.5 million has been raised through this event, with all entry fees going to spinal cord research, thanks to Red Bull covering administrative costs. Wings for Life operates as a charitable foundation with no commercial profit interests, united by the mission to cure spinal cord injuries.
